Angelo Lelii (?1989)

Little is known about Angelo Lelii, but he is nonetheless considered one of the greatest lighting designers of the last century. He died in 1989 but where or when he was born is still a mystery. Self-taught, he created the lighting design company Arredoluce, and over the years he designed and manufactured hundreds of lamps which continue to delight and fascinate collectors and designers all over the world. His 1955 Triennale design, model 12128, is one of his most famous creations.
